How did you get started as a designer?
When I was a sophomore at North Carolina Central University, I joined a modeling troupe called EVALESCO and all clothing we wore was handmade minus shoes. I didn't know how to sew, but they taught me a few tricks and from there I knew I wanted to be in fashion. I then started to YouTube sewing techniques and my step mother also would help me successfully finish garments and I've loved sewing and designing ever since.
What is your thing about designing?
There are multiple things I love about designing, but my one thing I know that I love the most is that I can make one yard of fabric into a limitless creation of ideas. I really think that is awesome!
