Fit & Flare
A fitted upper body and the skirt flares out gradually, just below the hip; an a-line style. Typically made from lighter fabrics like: chiffon, tulle, or organza.
Mermaid
The skirt flares out at or below the knee, creating a dramatic silhouette that highlights the torso. Mermaid dresses are good for showing off curves, but it restricts movement.
Trumpet
A fitted bodice and the skirt flares out at mid thigh. Trumpet dresses are good for showing off your curves and accentuating a smaller waist while still having the ability to move freely. Typically made from heavier fabrics like: satin, jacquard, or neoprene.
